Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous is a mid-winter festival designed to cure "cabin fever" with contests, dances and performances. Yukon Quest Sled Dog Race, the toughest sled dog race in North America, runs 1,600-kilometres between Whitehorse, Yukon and Fairbanks, Alaska, in February.
