The Yukon is home to a number of cultures, sharing their unique traditions and customs to create the diversity we enjoy in the north. People of aboriginal (First Nations) descent comprise about 20 per cent of the Yukon's population. The Yukon is also home to a vibrant francophone community. We are dedicated, hard-working people.
